BIO - Jacqueline Collier
Born in New York City, Jacqueline Collier has been a resident of Teaneck, New Jersey for over twenty-five years. Her interest in art started early in her childhood. She always enjoyed painting, and she has always had a love of nature and a desire to express the feelings that it evokes through her art. Jacqueline is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where her goal was fashion-illustration. However, she took a different turn towards early childhood education. She received her baccalaureate degree from Herbert H. Lehman College, and her master's degree from the College of New Rochelle in Special Education. After teaching for more than thirty years, Jacqueline now devotes her time to her passion for painting with a focus on watercolor. She is a member of the Pascack Art Association, The Salute to Women in the Arts, The Pen and Brush Society in NYC, and is an Associate Member of the NJ Watercolor Society.
